Tips for Best Results

• Tip One: When the wood slab reads 0%, it means the wood is too dry to register readings. At this point, the wood acts as an insulator, leading to a non-conductive state between the two pins.
• Tip Two: For the most accurate wood moisture content, push the pins deep into the material. Ensure the pins are in contact with the wood, wall, or other material being tested.
• Tip Three: The pins sense and measure along their full length. Therefore, if the pins penetrate a dry material through a wet outer surface, they will still accurately read the moisture content.
